DIRECTIONS TO THE HILTON DURHAM

The Hilton Durham is located at the intersection of I-85 and Route 70 Business (Hillsborough Road)

I-40 West (from Raleigh-Durham International Airport and Wilmington):
Exit the airport following signs “to I-40 West/Durham”
At I-40, turn right onto entrance ramp for I-40 West
Exit off I-40 at “Exit 279B/Durham Freeway/Highway 147”
Remain on the Durham Freeway until exit “16A”
At the end of the exit ramp, remain in the right lane as you enter Route 15-501-North
Go approximately 200 yards, this right lane will become the exit ramp for Hillsborough Road-Exit 108D
Turn left at the traffic light onto Hillsborough Road
The Hilton Durham is approximately 1 mile on your right

I-40 East (from Winston-Salem/Greensboro):
Follow I-40 East to I-85 North
Take Exit #173-Cole Mill Road
At stop sign at the end of the exit ramp, turn right
Take the first right and the Hilton Durham will be straight ahead (or, you may continue on Cole Mill Road to traffic light, turn right onto Hillsborough Road and the Hilton Durham will be on the right).

I-85 North (from Atlanta/Charlotte):
From I-85 North, take Exit #173-Cole Mill Road
At stop sign at the end of the exit ramp, turn right
Take the first right and the Hilton Durham will be straight ahead (or, you may continue on Cole Mill Road to traffic light, turn right onto Hillsborough Road and the Hilton Durham will be on the right).

1-85 South (from Washington D.C./Richmond)
From I-85 North, take Exit #173-Cole Mill Road
Turn left a the traffic light onto Cole Mill Road
Go approximately 200 yards the Hilton Durham’s back entrance will be your first right. Or you may continue on Cole Mill Road to traffic light, turn right onto Hillsborough Road and the Hilton Durham will be on the right

Are there nurses out there interested in certification as a mechanism to validate your expertise in transplant care?

If you have been a nurse for at least 24 months and have a minimum of 12 months work experience directly involved in the care of solid organ transplant patients, then you are eligible to sit for the American Board for Transplant Certification (ABTC) examination for transplant nurses (not coordinators).

In early Fall 2006, ABTC plans to computerize the CCTN examination for all US sites. To find out more about the examination go to http://www.abtc.net/exams.html
